Projects & Tasks Overview

The Projects & Tasks module is where work gets done in Shorebird OS. Track projects from start to finish, assign tasks to team members, and monitor progress with deliverables.

Core Concepts

📋 Projects

Projects are containers for related work. Each project:

  • Belongs to a client or company
  • Has a status and timeline
  • Contains tasks and deliverables
  • Can be assigned to team members

Tasks are individual work items within a project. They have:

  • Assignees (who does the work)
  • Due dates
  • Priority levels
  • Status tracking
  • Comments and attachments

Accessing Projects & Tasks

Click Projects in the sidebar to access:

  • All Projects — View and filter all projects
  • My Tasks — Tasks assigned to you
  • Calendar — Timeline view of due dates
  • Templates — Project templates

Project Lifecycle

Projects typically flow through these stages:

Not Started → In Progress → Review → Completed

On Hold
