Internet Connection
A stable internet connection is required to use Shorebird OS:

- Video calls (if applicable): 3+ Mbps
Device Requirements
Desktop / Laptop
- Operating System: Windows 10+, macOS 10.15+, Linux (modern distributions)
- RAM: 4GB minimum, 8GB+ recommended
- Screen Resolution: 1280x720 minimum, 1920x1080 recommended
Tablet
Shorebird OS is optimized for tablet use:
- iPad: iPadOS 14+
- Android Tablets: Chrome browser on Android 9+
Mobile
While Shorebird OS is primarily designed for desktop use, core features are accessible on mobile:
- iPhone: iOS 14+ with Safari
- Android: Android 9+ with Chrome
For the best experience with all features, we recommend using Shorebird OS on a desktop or laptop computer.
Email Integration Requirements
To use email and calendar integrations:
Gmail Integration
- Active Google account
- Gmail must be enabled on the account
- Pop-up blockers may need to allow app.shorebirdos.com
Google Calendar
- Google Calendar enabled on your Google account
- Calendar sharing settings may need adjustment for team calendars
