Adding Deliverables

Deliverables are the tangible outputs of your projects—the final designs, documents, or assets you provide to clients. This guide covers how to create and manage deliverables.

What Are Deliverables?

Deliverables differ from tasks:

Adding a Deliverable

From a Project

  1. Open the project
  2. Go to Deliverables tab
  3. Click + Add Deliverable
  4. Fill in details:
    • Name
    • Description
    • Due date
    • Linked tasks (optional)
  5. Click Save

Deliverable Fields

Deliverable Statuses

Track deliverable progress:

Updating Status

  1. Open the deliverable
  2. Click the status badge
  3. Select new status
  4. Add notes if needed

Linking Tasks to Deliverables

Connect tasks that contribute to a deliverable:

When Creating

  1. In the deliverable form, find Linked Tasks
  2. Search for related tasks
  3. Select tasks to link

After Creation

  1. Open the deliverable
  2. Click + Link Task
  3. Search and select
  4. Repeat for additional tasks

Benefits of Linking

  • See progress based on task completion
  • Understand what work goes into each deliverable
  • Track dependencies

Attaching Files

Add the actual deliverable files:

Uploading Files

  1. Open the deliverable
  2. Click + Attach File or drag & drop
  3. Files upload and attach
  4. Add multiple files if needed

File Versions

When updating files:

  1. Upload new version
  2. Previous versions are preserved
  3. View version history if needed

Deliverable Templates

For standard deliverables:

Creating a Template

  1. Go to SettingsTemplatesDeliverables
  2. Click + New Template
  3. Enter standard fields
  4. Save

Using Templates

  1. Click + Add Deliverable
  2. Select From Template
  3. Choose template
  4. Customize as needed

Recurring Deliverables

For regular outputs:

  1. Create the deliverable
  2. Enable Recurring
  3. Set frequency
  4. New deliverables auto-create

Best Practices

Clear Naming

  • Be specific: "Homepage Design v2" not "Design"
  • Include version if relevant
  • Match client expectations

Complete Descriptions

Include:

  • What's in the deliverable
  • Format and specifications
  • Any usage notes

Track Carefully

  • Update status promptly
  • Document delivery date
  • Record approvals
