Deactivating Users
When team members leave, deactivate their accounts to revoke access while preserving their work history.
Deactivating vs Deleting

Recommendation
Deactivate rather than delete to maintain project history and audit trails.
Deactivating a User
- Go to Settings → Users
- Find the user
- Click ⋮ → Deactivate
- Confirm the action
What Happens
When deactivated:
- ❌ Cannot log in
- ❌ Removed from active user list
- ✅ Work history preserved
- ✅ Name appears on past activity
- ✅ Can be reactivated
Reactivating a User
To restore access:
- Settings → Users
- Toggle Show Deactivated
- Find the user
- Click Reactivate
Reassigning Work
Before deactivating:
- Reassign their tasks
- Transfer project ownership
- Update client assignments
