Deleting Files

Remove files you no longer need. Learn about deletion, recovery, and permanent removal.

Deleting a File

  1. Find the file
  2. Click menu
  3. Select Delete
  4. Confirm deletion

Or:

  1. Select file
  2. Press Delete key
  3. Confirm

What Happens When Deleted

  • File moves to Trash
  • Links to projects/clients removed
  • File is recoverable for 30 days

Recovering Deleted Files

Within 30 days:

  1. Go to Files → Trash
  2. Find the file
  3. Click Restore
  4. File returns to original location

Permanent Deletion

To permanently remove:

  1. Go to Trash
  2. Select file(s)
  3. Click Delete Permanently
  4. Confirm

Permanently deleted files cannot be recovered.


Empty Trash

Remove all trashed files:

  1. Go to Trash
  2. Click Empty Trash
  3. Confirm

Bulk Delete

Delete multiple files:

  1. Select files with checkboxes
  2. Click Delete Selected
  3. Confirm
