Syncing Emails
Understand how emails sync between Gmail and Shorebird OS.
Automatic Sync
Once connected, emails sync automatically:
- New emails appear within minutes
- Sent emails are tracked
- Sync runs continuously
Sync Settings
Configure sync behavior in Settings → Integrations → Gmail:
| Setting | Options |
|---|---|
| Sync frequency | Real-time, Every 5 min, Every 15 min |
| Folders to sync | Inbox, Sent, All Mail |
| Historical sync | Last 30 days, 90 days, All |
Manual Sync
Force immediate sync:
- Go to Settings → Gmail
- Click Sync Now
- Wait for completion
Sync Status
Check sync health:
- Last synced timestamp
- Status indicator (green = healthy)
- Error messages if issues exist
