Disconnecting Gmail

Learn how to disconnect your Gmail account from Shorebird OS.

When to Disconnect​

  • Switching to a different email account
  • Leaving the organization
  • Troubleshooting connection issues

Disconnecting​

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Find Gmail
  3. Click Disconnect
  4. Confirm the action

What Happens​

When you disconnect:

  • ❌ New emails stop syncing
  • ✅ Previously synced emails remain visible
  • ✅ Email links on records stay intact
  • ❌ Can't send emails from Shorebird OS

Reconnecting​

To reconnect the same or different account:

  1. Settings → Integrations
  2. Click Connect Gmail
  3. Follow authorization steps

Revoking from Google​

For complete disconnection:

  1. Go to Google Account → Security
  2. Find Third-party apps with account access
  3. Find Shorebird OS
  4. Click Remove Access
